Sittings Group sittings (tso-chan/zazen) are held twice a week, on Tuesday evenings at 7 P.M. and Saturday mornings at 10 A.M.. On Tuesday, practice consists of several half-hour sittings and a short talk based on a traditional text that deals with the calming of mind. On Saturdays, practice consists of sitting and chanting. Sittings are open to people who have taken the introductory meditation classes and those who already have experience in meditation practice. After sittings, everyone may discuss the method practiced by himself or herself with the teacher.
